Composite Door Competition – Terms & Conditions

1. Prize Details

The prize includes one composite front door up to the value of £1,500.00 Inc VAT, including standard installation (or another amount explicitly stated by Top Lock at the time of the competition).

2. What the Prize Covers

• A standard composite door from our approved range.
• Standard colours and hardware options.
• Standard installation into an existing opening.
• VAT included.

3. Exclusions (Not Included in the Prize)

The following items are not included in the £1,500 prize and would incur additional costs if required (unless agreed by Top Lock at their sole discretion):

• Side panels / side lights.
• Top lights / fanlights.
• Arched frames or arched top panels.
• Any bespoke or non-standard frame shapes.
• Any structural alterations to the opening.
• Premium hardware upgrades.
• Premium colours or specialist finishes.

4. Eligibility

• Entrants must be homeowners or have obtained explicit permission from the homeowner of the property.
• The property must be located within our active service area.
• Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Top Lock reserves the right to remove competition entrants who have entered multiple times or have been found trying to "game" the entry system.

5. Installation Requirements

• The installation must be booked and scheduled within 2 months of the winner announcement.
• If the existing frame or opening requires remedial work, this may incur additional charges.

6. Property Suitability Check

Installation is subject to a technical survey. If the opening is deemed unsuitable for a composite door (e.g., structural issues, rot, subsidence), the winner may choose to pay for the required remedial work, select an alternative standard door option, or forfeit the prize winnings.

7. No Cash Alternative

The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or other services (unless Top Lock chooses to offer this at their sole discretion).

8. Additional Work

Any upgrades, extras, or non-standard requirements chosen by the winner will be quoted separately and must be paid in full before installation commences.

9. Company Rights

We reserve the right to withdraw, amend, or suspend the competition if necessary.

10. One Entry Per Person

Multiple entries are not permitted. Duplicate entries will be removed to ensure fairness to all participants.

11. Winner Announcement

The winner will be selected by Top Lock and announced live on our official Facebook page only (and/or our official website if applicable).

12. Scams & Fake Accounts

We will never ask for bank details or payment information to claim a prize. Any fake accounts pretending to be us should be ignored and reported. Communication will only ever be made via official Top Lock channels.

13. Marketing Consent

The winner agrees to allow us to take before-and-after photos and/or videos of the installation for marketing and promotional purposes.

14. Promoter Details

The promoter is Top Lock Yorkshire Ltd (Company No: 15495554, VAT No: 464164587), registered at Unit 6, Carlton Point, Carlton Road, Barnsley, S71 3HX.

15. Social Media Disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Meta, Instagram, or any other social network. By entering, you agree to release these platforms from any liability in connection with the competition.

16. Data Protection

Any personal data relating to entrants and the winner will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation (GDPR/Data Protection Act 2018) and our Privacy Policy. Personal data will only be processed for the purpose of administering the competition and arranging the prize installation.

17. Governing Law

The competition and these terms and conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
