We provide locksmith services including but not limited to emergency lockouts, lock repairs, lock replacements, door installations, and window repairs.
All services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time in accordance with the law.
3. Quotations and Pricing
We aim to provide accurate estimates and quotations. However, in some cases, the final price may vary depending on the complexity of the job, materials required, or unforeseen circumstances discovered upon arrival.
We do not charge a call-out fee. You will only be charged for work completed and parts used, unless agreed otherwise in advance.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of the work unless prior arrangements have been made (e.g., for commercial account holders). We accept cash, card payments, and bank transfers.
5. Warranties and Guarantees
We take pride in our workmanship. We offer a guarantee on all parts supplied and installed by us for a period of 12 months against manufacturing defects, unless otherwise stated.
This guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, or attempted repairs by third parties.
6. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel a booking, please contact us as soon as possible. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee if a booking is cancelled with short notice when an engineer is already en route.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Top Lock Yorkshire Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the services.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
9. Access Requirements & Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring safe access to the property and providing accurate information regarding the issue. If access is not possible or conditions are unsafe, we reserve the right to cancel the appointment and apply a reasonable fee.
10. Parts, Materials & Special Orders
For made-to-measure or special-order items (including windows, doors, and glazing), a non‑refundable deposit may be required. Once manufacturing has begun, cancellations may incur charges up to the full value of the order.
11. Property Damage Disclaimer
While we aim to work without causing damage, certain repairs or entries may involve unavoidable risk due to existing faults, wear, or structural issues. We are not liable for damage resulting from pre‑existing conditions.
12. Website Use & Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the property of Top Lock Yorkshire Ltd and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.
13. Force Majeure Clause
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather, supplier delays, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances.
14. Commercial Work & Trade Accounts (Optional)
Commercial clients may be subject to separate terms, including invoicing arrangements, credit limits, and payment schedules.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
